Baby being belated bogus belief but...

Funny how your expectations or priorities change, a few weeks ago we were trying to decide on some of the more tiny details of what would happen after the birth of our child. Now we are only concerned with her health and survival.

This last week has been very demanding, back and forth to the hospital and trying to make the patient as comfortable as possible, hoping all the while that the baby will not make an appearance for a good few weeks yet - she is only twenty six weeks along so lots to go to get to the magic forty weeks of a normal full term pregnancy. It seems like we will not make that but really anything over twenty eight would be great, more than thirty odd would be even better!

It is difficult to think about anything else at the moment with my wife in hospital and on bed rest with an imminent possibility of delivery at anytime. Though today I heard talk of someone else who was in a similar situation and ended up being two weeks overdue! If we could get there then that would be quite something! We can but hope!
